Great opportunity for new or experienced general anesthesiologist to practice at Aurora West Allis Medical Center in the Milwaukee market of Wisconsin.
You will become part of an excellent team of clinicians focused on providing compassionate and exceptional patient care as we welcome new lives into our community.

Highlights

* Diverse patient population and a good general case mix including ortho, ENT, general surgery, healthy peds, regional, etc. Limited vascular and neuro, no hearts. Daytime OB is possible, but not frequent.
* Mix of inpatient and outpatient with most days spent sitting your own cases, though some medical direction is required.

* Strong perioperative team and excellent staff
* Collaborative model working with experienced and dedicated CRNAs
* Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
* Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
* Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
* EPIC EMR System: Advocate Health, as the nation's largest EPIC user, ensures an optimized EMR system

Training and/or Experience Required

  • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program

  • Board-eligibility or board-certification in Anesthesiology
