They may also help with sales, inventory, and events. Strong customer service skills and a passion for wine are important in this role. Winery Associates often act as the face of the winery, ensuring visitors have a memorable and educational experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a winery associate, and why are they important?

What are some common challenges winery associates face during peak seasons, and how can they effectively manage them?

During peak seasons such as harvest or major events, Winery Associates often experience increased workloads, longer hours, and a higher volume of customer interactions. Managing these challenges involves strong time management, adaptability, and teamwork with colleagues across production, tasting room, and sales. Proactively communicating with supervisors and supporting team members can help ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience, even during busy periods.
