The Asian Health and Wellness Center (AHWC), located on Englewood Health's East Campus, provides culturally responsive health, wellness, education, and community programs for the Asian-American community. This is an opportunity to help build and shape a growing community-focused initiative dedicated to improving engagement within the Asian-American community. The Program Manager will have a meaningful role in developing programs, establishing partnerships, building participation, and creating measurable community impact and ability to assist with fundraising.
Job Summary:
The Englewood Health and Physician Network is seeking a highly organized, creative, business-minded program manager to lead the Center's programs and operations. These include program development, community outreach, local partnerships, marketing, fundraising support and budgeting. The ideal candidate will possess experience with community centers, healthcare and wellness programs, or nonprofit organizations. Familiarity with the Englewood community is strongly preferred. Demonstrated team leadership abilities, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
Department: Asian Health and Wellness Center
Location: 930 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs
Status: Full Time
Shift: Days
Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm, may require evening hours
Job Qualifications:
  • Five or more (5+) years of related experience preferred in community outreach.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience preferred
  • Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating community-based programs and services
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with community and hospital-based partners
  • Proficiency with program analysis and improvement recommendations
  • Experience with payroll and pay practices
  • Strong cultural competency and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual - Korean or Mandarin fluency preferred

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
    Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000
