Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Stonington, CT
Type: 6-month contract. Contract to hire possible
Work Model: Onsite - onsite
Pay: $25 - $35/hr
System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team for an opportunity in Stonington, CT.
Responsibilities
  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for engineering and technical positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and recruit qualified engineering talent while building candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
  • May assist Employment Manager and recruiters with Employment Staffing Plan Processes (Forecasting; Sourcing; Requisitions; Recruiting; Hiring; Retention and Redeployment).
  • Review applications, work history, and employee status ratings.
  • Ensure new hires complete all onboarding tasks from offer accepted to first day with a high degree of customer service (update requisitions, enter and track background checks and drug screens, maintain I-9 compliance and E-Verify compliance, etc.).
  • May be asked to track and report data on staffing plan processes.
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry, answering phones, taking messages, and filing.
  • Develop detailed job descriptions, screening questions, and tool lists specific to positions based on scope of work to be performed.
  • Screen candidates to ensure qualifications for positions to be filled.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand engineering disciplines, technical requirements, and experience needed for each position.
  • Build pipelines of passive engineering talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
  • Schedule individuals for processing and orientation.
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System in real time with candidate information and interactions.
  • Attend job fairs and other industry events.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing requisitions.
  • Recent experience recruiting engineering professionals is required.
  • Recent nuclear engineering recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience building and maintaining pipelines of qualified engineering talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Experience recruiting engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, I&C, Process, Piping, Project, or other engineering professionals.
  • Experience recruiting within Nuclear, Power Generation, EPC, Utilities, Heavy Industrial, or Industrial Construction environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong passive sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience recruiting senior and hard-to-fill engineering positions.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP.
  • Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
