Job Summary/Description:
The Receptionist receives all incoming calls, greets visitors, and performs various administrative duties.
Duties/Responsibilities (but are not limited to) the following:
* Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate personnel
* Greet visitors and maintain visitor log
* Interact with all company personnel, outside clients, viewers, and visitors
* Receive incoming and outgoing deliveries and arrange for pick-up
* Open switchboard and lobby in the morning and/or close switchboard and lobby at the end of the business day
* Sort daily mail, open and stamp all checks
* Collaborate with the digital media department on various web projects when necessary
* Responsible for outgoing and incoming commercial production tapes
* Work alternate schedules and full days as needed
* Perform general administrative duties for other departments when necessary
* Order office supplies
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned
* Be punctual in opening and closing the lobby at the designated hours 8 am-5 pm
* Maintain and disseminate event tickets for staff
* Organize and maintain prize database
* Organize station winner sheets and prizes
* Assist with FCC Reports
* Assist the traffic department with reconciliation of schedules to contract confirmations
* Keep "The Place" production schedule current
* Clip and Post "The Place" segments on the web
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google
* Must be adaptable to change, customer service oriented, and have experience working with the public
* Basic knowledge of the station's programming schedule
* Must have good problem-solving skills
* Ability to remain calm in the midst of chaos
* Ability to get along with others and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Must be flexible to work extra hours to cover hours when needed

* Must be dependable and punctual
