Job Summary:
The Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides specialized respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services across multiple hospital units. This role involves delivering patient-centered care including floor care, emergency response, and participation in rapid response teams. The therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient respiratory needs and support critical care interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) in hand.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT).
  • Experience in acute care settings including floor care, ER, and critical care environments.
  • Ability to respond to emergency codes and participate in rapid response teams.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and respiratory care interventions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Experience with neuro diagnostic procedures.
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Pediatric Trauma Center.
Special Considerations:
  • Must be able to float between multiple units as needed.
  • On-call is not required.
  • Participation in code response and rapid response teams is mandatory.
  • Must work every other weekend.
  • Block scheduling is required.
  • Approved for 48-hour shifts.
