Advanced Disaster Recovery, Inc. (ADRI) is a leading restoration and environmental services company with over 35 years of experience across NY, NJ, PA, and CT. We specialize in emergency response, environmental cleanup, asbestos abatement, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage, and water damage restoration, serving both residential and commercial clients 24/7/365.
We're growing our Hudson Valley team and are currently seeking a qualified Asbestos Supervisor who is already performing this type of work in New York and understands local regulations and jobsite protocols.

Position Overview

The Asbestos Supervisor leads and oversees asbestos abatement projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This position supervises field technicians, coordinates with clients and property owners, and ensures that every project is executed safely, efficiently, and according to ADRI's high standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise asbestos abatement projects and field teams to ensure safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.
  • Oversee containment setup, removal activities, and site cleanup in accordance with NYS and federal asbestos regulations.
  • Conduct daily safety and respirator fit tests as required.
  • Train, mentor, and coach technicians on safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, job instructions, and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, equipment logs, and vehicle inventories.
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure job sites are left clean, safe, and ready for the next phase.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of asbestos abatement experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Must currently hold valid New York State Asbestos Supervisor/Handler certifications.
  • Must already be performing asbestos abatement work in New York.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Current physical and respirator fit test required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights or weekends, as projects require.
  • Must pass a background check.
