SystImmune is experiencing rapid growth as we advance multiple pipelines in the clinical stage. We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our corporate, clinical, and scientific organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to clinical leaders while also providing recruiting support as recruiting capacity is being expanded. Over time, the role will transition to focus primarily on HR business partnership, including manager coaching, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced biotech environment.
This role is full-time onsite at our Redmond, WA location and requires proficiency in both English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned teams, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations and manager effectiveness.
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
  • Partner with leaders to identify engagement and retention risks and support change management initiatives.
  • Support onboarding, employee experience, and culture building initiatives.
  • Provide recruiting support for clinical roles during the initial growth phase, partnering with recruiters on candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and training requirements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in biotech or pharma.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese/Mandarin.
  • Demonstrated HRBP or HR Generalist experience supporting corporate, clinical, and scientific teams.
  • Prior experience combining HR partnership responsibilities with recruiting.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management and coaching.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and scaling HR practices in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and judgment skills

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.
While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.
