Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Ecommerce Manager, the Website Merchandiser will support updating website content and product launches for all direct-to-consumer Global and Domestic ecommerce websites. This role will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to balance work on multiple projects at once. The Website Merchandiser will oversee the creation and maintenance of products and webpages within Shopify and Salesforce CMS platforms to present optimal shopping experiences for our online customers.


You will work closely with the Global Marketing and North American Marketing teams to launch new product webpages and make updates to the websites to support global and domestic sales goals and product launches. You will work to continuously optimize website content to ensure product and sales information is accurate and that our websites are the authority when it comes to our products and brands. This role will leverage performance data and customer insights to continuously improve the online experience in support of revenue goals. 


Responsibilities:

International Website Support: 

Collaborate with the Global Marketing team to make day-to-day updates on our Global websites

Support international product launches by building product pages and associated content.

Ensure Global web content meets both brand standards and website best-practices

Optimize on-site search results, filters, and sorting functionality


Domestic Website Support: 

Manage product assortment, categorization, and on-site placement on multiple websites to align with business goals

Coordinate product launches, website updates, and promotional events

Maintain content accuracy including pricing, imagery, and descriptions

Partner with marketing, creative, and digital teams to develop and execute merchandising strategies that maximize sales, conversion rates, and average order value.

Optimize on-site search results, filters, and sorting functionality

Work collaboratively with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout the customer experience


Website Standards: 

Support SEO best practices to improve organic traffic

Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and compliance standards

Maintain website compliance with ADA guidelines

Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) for site updates, new feature releases, and platform migrations.


Website Optimization: 

Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell placements

Monitor competitor websites and industry trends to identify merchandising opportunities and best practices.

Monitor and analyze site performance metrics, including product page conversion, search performance, and category sell-through, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement

Support A/B testing initiatives to optimize product placement, page layouts, and promotional content.

Requirements


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, eCommerce, or related field preferred


Experience:

1-3 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, digital retail, or a related role preferred.

Experience working in a fitness equipment related field a plus
