4756 - 2774   Continuum Implementation Specialist

Come join our team!  DeRoyal is actively searching for an Implementation Specialist to join our Continuum team.  

The ideal candidate possesses the ability to be a customer-facing resource who is malleable to the needs of the customer by being an on-site expert on our Continuum RFID solution for acute care.  They should possess the ability to teach, lead, and be the on-site expert on our inventory encoding system, scanning, their functions, and system reports.  They will serve as a key resource for the implementation of the Continuum RFID Project Team by leading implementation teams on site composed of client and DeRoyal resources.  They will serve as the lead for on-site activities and as the subject matter expert on the Continuum system.  They will perform the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Serves as the implementation lead on-site directing all aspects of the solution delivery including but not limited to: 

  • Setting up and configuring hardware to prepare for implementation.
  • Delivering training content via PowerPoint slide decks in a classroom environment.
  • Teaching best practices of RFID technology and its use.
  • Instructing users on all hardware components and how to use.
  • Reviewing scope on site and developing an implementation strategy in conjunction with on-site leadership.
  • Validating all users are trained and on all required components of the system and usage.
  • Assist with and/or deliver Continuum content and training at the CEC(Continuum Experience Center).

Ability to instruct client users on how to access and use Web reports, how to operate scanners, and how to tag and encode inventory items.

When not on travel implementing the solution, assists with organizing and assembling equipment, packaging, and palletizing for shipment.

Capability to utilize Webex, Teams, and other collaborative technologies to hold meetings and deliver training content.

Proactively maintains knowledge of the Continuum solution, features, features, enhancements, hardware, and processes.

Unpack from pallet, assemble, set-up and configure encoding stations and iPad at customer locations as needed.

Tags and encodes inventory items into the Continuum system at customer locations when needed.

Familiarity with Apple iPads, pairing Bluetooth, and adjusting settings on handheld devices.

Familiarity with connecting computer systems to WiFi networks.

Ability to test and calibrate equipment per the build and testing protocols.

Can effectively communicate with customers, project managers and internal teams in a timely and effective manner.  Responds to questions in a timely manner.

Work independently or in a collaborative manner as needed.

Can schedule travel independently that adheres to the project plan.

Attend training sessions.  Ability to learn new information, retain, and teach others.

 

Ability to assess when to contact manager for additional information or instruction.

Read and follow oral and/or written directions.

Conduct operations in accordance with safety requirements.

Work at a consistent pace to ensure a steady flow.

Must be willing to travel to various customer sites for implementations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.  Undergraduate degree preferred; or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
