Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

  • The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and be willing to rotate on all equipment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the radiation therapy plan prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
  • Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments.

Job Requirements:
  • Technical or Associate's radiography degree
  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
    • If registry eligible, must become advanced certified in Radiation Therapy within 60 days of hire
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
