Job description

Leland is building the home for ambition in the age of AI. We connect people with the experts, programs, and communities they need to land the job, get into the school, or upskill for a world being rewritten by AI. We help businesses become AI-native through training, hiring, and infrastructure. Since our founding in 2021, we've helped tens of thousands of people reach their most ambitious goals and raised $19M from world-class investors. Ambition is sacred to us, and we've built a product that takes that seriously.
We're looking to add an ambitious Growth Manager to our hard-working growth team. This person will take ownership of all of Leland's organic channels, primarily focusing on establishing the organic social function. If you are an aggressive, creative, and driven executor who wants to build a killer organic growth engine and team, you will love this role. Leland is growing very quickly and we are on a mission to help everyone reach their career and educational goals.
Responsibilities
  • Build and optimize scalable content systems and teams to amplify the Leland brand
  • Own and >10x existing social growth channels leveraging AI, tools, contractors, etc.
  • Identify and experiment with new social growth channels, content types, viral loops, and tactics
  • Dive deep into platform ecosystems and algorithms to determine winning strategies
  • Leverage data to measure results, learn quickly, and iterate on what's effective
  • Work cross-functionally across the growth, product, and operations teams to support broader growth initiatives
  • Help craft Leland's brand, voice, and reputation online

Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing, content, growth, consulting, strategy or similar roles
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Deep understanding of or desire to learn platform algorithms, content formats, and what drives organic distribution
  • Data-driven approach to content: you set goals, measure performance, and iterate quickly
  • Rigorous testing mentality: you form hypotheses, run structured experiments, and use results to drive decisions rather than gut alone
  • High-agency owner who takes full accountability for outcomes, moves without waiting for permission, and finds a way to get things done
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and can prioritize without much hand-holding
Why Leland?
  • The chance to join a world-class team helping people achieve their career and educational dreams
  • Work in a collaborative, high-energy environment where your contributions have a direct impact
  • Operate in a fast-paced, AI-native environment
  • We don't hire people who merely want to work for a great company; we hire people who want to make a great company

Leland is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and demographics to apply.
