Purpose of Position
The Regional Marketing Communications Manager leads the planning and execution of communications and campaign activities across assigned geographic regions to ensure a consistent brand presence that drives awareness, demand, and growth within industrial and OEM channels. This role owns day-to-day regional communications priorities, adapting global brand standards and product messaging for local markets, channels, and languages.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver integrated regional campaigns and content across digital and traditional channels (email, web, social, events, PR, sales enablement).
  • Localize global marketing materials and product messaging for regional audiences and coordinate translations, regional creative, and channel adaptations.
  • Manage regional internal and external communications, including announcements, leadership messaging, and field enablement content that support regional commercial objectives.
  • Track and report regional campaign performance and marketing metrics; use insights to optimize tactics and align work to regional sales and product goals.
  • Lead and mentor direct reports and oversee agency contractors assigned to the region; set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide guidance and governance to regional marketing communications colleagues across the enterprise to ensure alignment with brand standards and regional go-to-market plans.
  • Act as the primary regional partner to product management, regional sales leaders, field marketing, IT, engineering, corporate communications, and global marketing teams to coordinate launches, promotions, and technical messaging.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, market practices, and Timken branding/GenAI usage policies in regional communications.
  • Collaborate with product management, global and regional marketing, sales, and engineering subject matter experts to translate technical features into customer-focused benefits and competitive positioning.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelance writers, videographers, and vendors; oversee budgets and ensure ROI on outsourced work.
  • Responsible for leading a team of 2 Marketing Analysts, as well as reporting responsibility for 6 external contractors.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in, marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field with 10+ years related experience
  • Preferred - master's degree in marketing, communications, engineering or a related field with 7+ years related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and information systems (SAP, SQL, Access)
  • Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to localize global strategy into regionally relevant campaigns and measure regional impact.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow through and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Analytical skills to measure and improve aspects of the digital customer experience, develop metrics and report key insights to senior leadership.
  • People management experience preferred
