The Job Details:· Assist with the designing, planning, and organizing of orientation and training programs for employees.· Responsible for overall knowledge of the various warehouse functions and asked to lead by example. · Ensure and maintain good warehousing practices, safety, customer SOPs, and inventory accuracy while remaining inspection ready. · Uphold a safety culture while abiding by company policy.· Evaluate training needs through consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.· Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.· Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills or comply with updated policy or regulation changes.· Present information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.· Gauge training effectiveness and accurately maintain training records.· Assist in scheduling classes based on availability of employees, equipment, or instructors.· Provide mentorship to new employees or those who need additional coaching. · Evaluate and coach employee performance given LMS program best practices and work to develop skills in employees.· Assist in maintaining compliance with local, corporate, and external training requirements. · Act as a Warehouse Associate when needed. The Job Specifics:· Location and Department: Operations· Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor· Travel Amount: minimal · Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-Time, non-Exempt What We Are Looking For:The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications. · Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. · Experience: 2+ years of warehouse understanding and experience.
