Job description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support daily inventory accuracy and materials tracking across our warehouse, production facility, and third-party warehousing providers. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, ensuring that all materials—ingredients, packaging, and finished goods—are accurately counted, recorded, and available to support production and customer orders.
This position works closely with the Warehouse & Shipping Manager, Logistics Coordinator, and Production teams playing a critical role in keeping our inventory accurate and organized.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies in partnership with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ensure proper FIFO rotation and clear product labeling.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when items approach reorder points.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and audits.
Materials Movement & Transfers
  • Accurately record all inventory transfers between warehouse and production areas.
  • Support receiving by verifying quantities and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are stored in correct, designated locations.
  • Help maintain organized inventory locations and bin accuracy.
Organization & Compliance
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and clearly labeled inventory areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and traceability procedures.
  • Support documentation requirements for audits and regulatory compliance.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or production support (food manufacturing a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable performing repetitive counting and data-entry tasks
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks (bending, stooping, reaching)
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow established procedures
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred (training available)
