Inventory Control Associate
Job Description
The Inventory Control Associate will assist site Inventory Control and Operations Leadership and Operations Peers in assessing inventory inaccuracies and conducting cycle counts and audits. This person must be able to work within multiple buildings within a 10 mile radius.
  • Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership
  • Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technology
  • Provide required documentation to customer, customer's financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements
  • Operate a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment
  • Follow the proper procedures and utilize the necessary tools provided to perform assigned duties and tasks
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail oriented
  • Precise and clear penmanship is needed for all communications

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with work related experience in inventory control, logistics or related discipline, required
  • 1-3 years' relative work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of barcode scanning and equipment
  • Knowledge of systems such as Red Prairie, WMS, SAP, etc., preferred
  • Must have intermediate math and problem solving skills
