  • We are looking for an hourlyInventory Control Associate.
    Schedule isMonday to Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

    BASIC FUNCTION

    Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Inventory Control associate is responsible for performing inventory cycle counts / reconciliation functions for the( 3 ) NJ warehouse locations and any off-site storage locations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures the appropriate training and use of safety devices and power industrial equipment, general housekeeping, and maintains awareness for hazardous conditions and practices are being adhere to.
    • Administers a method of cycle counts to control and monitor locations for finish goods / semi-finished goods/raw material and corrugated cardboard. This procedure is for the NJ Warehouses and further additions.
    • Assist with the investigation and root cause analysis of OS&D customer claims.
    • The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing,receiving,shipping and other business functions as required
    • Maintain raw material Inventory levels for manufacturing area
    • Supports facility maintenance and supports purchase order entry across the NJ warehouses

    ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Establishment of inventory schedule / aisles to be counted.
    • Provide warehouse management personnel with daily cycle count schedule status.
    • Wok with Warehouse Manager to investigate and reconcile all identified inventory discrepancies. Maintain / provide metrics of inventory data. Initiates inventory adjustments for all inventory related discrepancies in a timely manner after the investigation and research efforts have been exhausted.
    • Communicates product shortages to Supervisor / Warehouse Mgr. so that alternative available options are exercised in product substitutions / repack to avoid customer backorders.

    Other

    • Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
