Position Overview:
As our Purchasing Clerk, you’ll help manage supplies, coordinate with vendors, and ensure our teams have everything they need to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain inventory and stock supplies in laboratory, office, maintenance, and shipping/receiving stockrooms
  • Monitor supply levels, track expiration dates, and rotate inventory as needed
  • Process supply requests and issue purchase orders to vendors
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in VWR Inventory Manager
  • Coordinate vendor setup in Salesforce and QuickBooks
  • Review vendor pricing and performance to support cost-effective purchasing
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure supply needs are met
  • Participate in Business Operations meetings and support cross-team collaboration
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or purchasing systems is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
