Job Summary

The Senior VP of Support Services is responsible for overseeing multiple departments in order to fulfill various corporate needs other than project-related operational planning and execution.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee multifunctional support departments, including administration, information technology, facilities management, human resources, risk management, office services and purchasing, and security.
  • Confer with executive leadership to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies and to coordinate support services functions.
  • Interpret company policy to employees and enforces company policies and practices.
  • Support the development and execution of employment policies and programs that contribute to the acquisition, retention, motivation, and development of talent.
  • Provides physical working environment that provides a positive, productive climate for operations through maintenance, planning, and general building services.
  • Ensure efficiency of internal data systems, software, and hardware in providing direction and oversight to information technology staff.
  • Plan for and procure equipment and supplies that effectively meet operational requirements with a minimum expenditure.
  • Counsel management on strategic planning and organization design processes, combined with recommendations and insights that contribute to overall plan strategic management and corporate direction.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a similar field of study.
  • 15+ years of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and upper management.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent.     
  • Construction and utilities industry experience.
