Job Description

The Position:

The Vice President, Performance Marketing – Channels, will lead Paid Social, Programmatic, and Paid Search teams in developing strategy and executing tactics, leading an in-house team of performance marketing professionals, and delivering strong results for the Peacock business. This role is responsible for Social/Programmatic platform partnerships across Peacock and the broader Growth Marketing organization. This role sets the strategy for how Performance Media channels drive incremental growth, oversees cross-channel testing and measurement, and serves as a senior thought partner to Growth Strategy, Media Analytics, Finance, and external platform partners.

This leader is expected to operate with a multi‑level perspective, from executive strategy to in-market decisioning, while coaching managers and shaping the long-term evolution of the Performance Marketing discipline.

We are looking for you, a dynamic, data-driven, best-in-class talent to join the Peacock team as the Vice President, Performance Marketing - Channels. This is a critical role within the Growth organization, specifically the Performance Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Paid Social, Programmatic and Paid Search strategy and execution across major Performance Marketing platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google (DV360, YouTube) and others.
  • Partner with Performance Planning leadership on channel investment strategy, budget oversight and pacing.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of partner relationships with paid media platforms, ensuring the partners are delivering against Peacock business goals and driving innovation.
  • Partner with counterparts to develop efficient media plans for Performance Campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and present in senior leadership settings to generate strategic alignment and evangelize Performance Marketing contributions to the business.
  • Oversee a team of talented Performance marketing professionals, serving as the primary decision-maker on campaign execution, optimizations and channel strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Media Analytics, Finance, Data Strategy) to ensure alignment of business objectives, deployment of effective measurement solutions, and generation of new approaches to challenges.
  • Oversee the development and execution of a Learning Agenda and testing roadmap. Serve as the primary decision-maker on test prioritization and design.
  • Translate performance data and experimental results into clear strategic recommendations for improving channel performance, and for the adoption of new ad partners, products and approaches. 
  • Manage and develop talented team members within Channel teams. Provide regular feedback and career guidance to foster growth. Champion a culture of curiosity, rigorous testing, and constructive debate.
  • Guide overall MarTech and data strategy for the Performance Marketing team. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to activate best-in-class tech solutions and drive adoption of emerging technologies.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, with deep Paid Social expertise.
  • Deep platform expertise on major performance media channels such as Meta, TikTok, Google (DV360, YouTube) and others.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and demonstrated ability to connect data, strategy, and storytelling to provide recommendations and direction.
  • Expertise with testing methodologies, experimental design, and ability to lead the planning and execution of a strategic learning agenda.
  • Extensive experience working with Media Mix Modeling and Multi-touch Attribution measurement and planning solutions.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high regard for attention to detail. 

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
