Job description

Chase Travel Marketing drives awareness, engagement, and growth for Chase Travel by connecting cardmembers to travel products, benefits, and inspiration through a coordinated omni-channel strategy. We partner across Card Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Creative, Finance, and Data & Analytics to deliver measurable outcomes, including new bookers, gross transaction volume, and travel share of wallet, supported by strong governance, compliance, and operational rigor.

As a Senior Associate, Performance Marketing in Chase Travel, you will support the Vice President, Performance Marketing in building and optimizing Chase Travel performance programs that turn qualified demand into incremental bookings. You will own high-impact workstreams across travel offers and promotions, low-funnel travel-intent marketing, P&I audience growth, incrementality measurement, and the performance backlog that governs optimization priorities across channels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own travel offers and promotions: Lead Chase Travel offers and promotional workstreams, including Chase Offers, merchant-funded offers, and promo codes. Manage eligibility, messaging, merchandising, testing roadmap, timelines, and coordination with channel owners.

  • Manage low-funnel travel-intent marketing: Use behavioral trigger-powered targeting, suppression and eligibility logic, and ongoing optimization to improve conversion and drive incremental bookings.

  • Support P&I travel audience growth strategy: Partner on the audience roadmap, model-enabled targeting, and omnichannel activation planning to expand qualified demand and improve marketing efficiency.

  • Partner with D&A on incremental measurement and test readouts: Translate experiment outcomes, lift and incrementality where applicable, learning agenda inputs, and optimization recommendations into clear readouts for performance marketing programs.

  • Maintain a single performance backlog and prioritization: Manage one integrated backlog across optimization, offers, triggers, and experiments. Surface tradeoffs, dependencies, and inventory conflicts through the VP Performance Marketing operating cadence.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years in performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, growth marketing, audience strategy, offers/promotions, or marketing analytics.

  • Experience managing marketing roadmaps, campaign timelines, eligibility logic, testing plans, and cross-functional launch dependencies.

  • Strong analytical judgment and comfort partnering with Data & Analytics teams on test design, incrementality reads, performance interpretation, and optimization decisions.

  • Ability to translate complex targeting, measurement, and promotional inputs into clear, executive-ready recommendations and action plans.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional workstreams across marketing, product, channel, creative, finance, legal/compliance, and analytics partners.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with travel, card, loyalty, offers, or marketplace-style marketing programs.

  • Familiarity with behavioral triggers, audience models, suppression rules, CRM journeys, or lower-funnel conversion optimization.

  • Comfort balancing growth, ROI, incrementality, customer experience, and channel inventory tradeoffs.

  • Strong operating discipline, including backlog management, prioritization, decision tracking, and stakeholder escalation.
