Job description

DISA Technologies is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead and scale the company’s finance function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the President, this role will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, reporting, cash management, internal controls, audit readiness, and financial systems development.

The VP Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team and the board, providing clear financial insights, disciplined forecasting, and operational support across the business, as well as leading preparation of board‑level financial materials. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in high‑growth, venture‑backed, industrial, mining, manufacturing, or other capital‑intensive environments, with the ability to balance strategic finance leadership with hands‑on execution.

This role will be critical in building scalable financial processes, supporting board and investor reporting, strengthening governance and compliance, leading ERP and process improvements, and preparing the organization for future growth milestones.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably in a high‑growth environment.
  • Prior experience as a VP Finance, Controller, senior finance leader, or similar role preferred.
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership teams and supporting board‑level financial reporting.
  • Strong background in mining, industrial, manufacturing, technology, or other capital‑intensive industries preferred.
  • Experience in multi‑entity and/or multi‑jurisdictional financial environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated experience leading FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial modeling.
  • Experience managing accounting operations, month‑end close, audit readiness, treasury, tax coordination, and compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial tools; NetSuite implementation or optimization experience preferred.
  • Ability to build scalable financial processes, improve controls, and support company growth.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • High attention to detail, discretion, reliability, and accountability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, venture‑backed company environment.
  • Experience supporting investor reporting or related governance processes strongly preferred.
  • Experience in preparing board financial reporting package, including finance slides, analysis, commentary, and supporting materials for executive and Board review.
  • Optional experience supporting IPO readiness.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel as required.
