Job Overview

The Vice President (VP), Health Services Operations is a senior leadership role within AltaMed's Health Services division. The VP of Health Services Operations serves as a member of Health Services' Executive Physician and Operational Leadership teams. This position oversees the strategic and tactical planning and execution of Health Services operational programs and services, as well as aligning Health Services to the enterprise vision, goals, and objectives. The VP, Health Services Operations, provides direct leadership and support to Medical, HIV, and operational leaders in developing and executing operational plans to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with AltaMed's goals. This role supports the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Medical Officer in the delivery of care, including AltaMed's MSO, Health Plans, and other external partners, to achieve health outcomes across AltaMed's total care delivery system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing (RN), Social Work, Health Administration, or a related field required.

  • Healthcare Leadership Experience. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration or a closely related healthcare setting, including at least 5 years in an enterprise-wide or functional leadership role with direct responsibility for strategic decision-making.

  • Operational and Management Expertise. Demonstrated track record managing financial operations, program development, personnel, operational oversight, and quality management in a healthcare environment.

    Compensation

    $222,144.00 - $277,680.00 annually
