Healthcare Operations Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced office position that plays a vital role in supporting patients, caregivers, referral sources, and internal departments while ensuring exceptional service and efficient daily operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys solving problems, communicates professionally, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong administrative, customer service, scheduling, or office operations experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate patient intake and onboarding activities.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and office inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation.
- Coordinate communication between departments to ensure timely patient services.
- Assist with customer service concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Process referrals, authorizations, and required documentation.
- Support daily office operations and administrative initiatives.
- Monitor tasks, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency and the overall patient experience.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
