An individual could be successful if they possess the following.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:* Responsible for directing the overall operations, performance, and leadership of Casino Operations with a primary emphasis on **Table Games and Poker Operations**, while maintaining strong operational oversight and strategic understanding of **Slot Operations**.* Develops, implements, and manages operational goals, strategic initiatives, and performance objectives designed to maximize revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.* Provides executive leadership and oversight of **Table Games operations**, including pit performance, game protection, dealer and leadership development, staffing strategies, ratings accuracy, labor optimization, premium player experience, and departmental profitability.* Maintains strong operational oversight of **Slot Operations**, including slot floor performance, slot mix optimization, product placement, operational efficiencies, guest service standards, and partnership with slot leadership to maximize gaming revenue.* Ensures proper enforcement of gaming procedures, departmental policies, and regulatory compliance as outlined in company policies, internal controls, and all applicable federal, state, and gaming commission regulations.* Partners closely with Surveillance, Security, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and Player Development to ensure operational integrity, asset protection, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional guest experience.* Oversees all Table Games and Poker game protection initiatives and ensures operational safeguards are maintained to minimize risk, prevent advantage play, and protect company assets.* Monitors and evaluates key operational performance indicators including, but not limited to, table hold percentage, slot performance, labor productivity, guest satisfaction, revenue trends, occupancy/utilization, ratings accuracy, and departmental profitability.* Develops and implements strategic plans related to game mix, slot floor optimization, premium player engagement, comp utilization, labor management, and guest service initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and profitability.* Responsible for preparing, managing, and adhering to departmental operating and capital budgets while proactively identifying opportunities to increase revenue and control expenses.* Ensures scheduling practices effectively align with business volumes, operational demands, labor objectives, and guest service expectations.* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards. Ensures all team members consistently deliver exceptional service and resolves guest concerns promptly and professionally.* Provides leadership, coaching, and direction to Casino Operations leadership teams while fostering accountability, engagement, and a culture of operational excellence.* Participates as a member of the Executive Leadership Team in developing strategic and tactical operating plans that support overall property goals, gaming performance, guest engagement, and financial objectives.* Responsible for overall departmental engagement by addressing team member feedback, concerns, development opportunities, and retention strategies.* Recommends and approves employment actions including hiring, promotions, transfers, disciplinary action, succession planning, and organizational development within Casino Operations.* Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.* Protects and preserves company assets while maintaining operational integrity and accountability.**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age.* Bachelor's degree (B.A./ B.S.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of ten years experience in a comparable Casino Operations leadership position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Casino Operations operating systems.* Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.* Must have extensive knowledge of all Casino Operations.* Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**This job has supervisory responsibilities.* Responsible for staff development and training programs.* Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.* Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.* Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.* Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.* Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).**LANGUAGE SKILLS**Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.**REASONING ABILITY**Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
