Role Overview

Boyne Capital, a Miami-based private equity firm focused on the lower middle market, is hiring an experienced investment professional to join its deal team. Boyne has invested in over forty platforms and more than seventy add-on acquisitions across business services, industrial services, e-commerce, consumer products, healthcare services, and niche manufacturing, and is actively deploying its third committed fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate investment ideas and source transactions that meet Boyne's value-oriented investment strategy
  • Analyze potential investment opportunities through materials review, industry research, financial analysis, and structuring/valuation work
  • Lead due diligence on investment opportunities, including commercial and business diligence and managing third-party diligence providers
  • Structure and negotiate with business owners and advisors to close new portfolio company investments
  • Participate in ongoing portfolio company management alongside Boyne's operations team, including leading add-on acquisition activity
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including investment banking and private equity
  • Strong academic credentials (MBA a plus, not required)
  • Ability to work directly with owners of lower middle market companies ($20mm-$150mm in revenue) outside formal auction processes
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work on-site in Miami, FL (Coconut Grove)
