Job description

Job Title: Tribal College Interning

Job Type: Summer Interning

As part of Two Kings Casino Tribal College Interning Program, you will have an opportunity to gain
experience and understanding of real-life casino operation structures and how different departments work
in unison to achieve operational goals. You will also gain exposure to working professionals in a variety
of casino fields to better help you and your career path.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Work to gain an understanding of the organization, divisional purpose, and processes.
โ€ข Actively participate in divisional projects, tasks, and assignments.
โ€ข Identifying why certain procedures are needed and not needed given property restrictions.
โ€ข Working through ideas and processes from start to finish, as well as providing us with analysis of
the effectiveness of each process and idea.
โ€ข Understanding real life casino operation structures and how different departments work in unison
to achieve operational goals.
โ€ข Identifying why certain procedures are needed and not needed given property restrictions.
โ€ข Providing real casino business operations examples and industry comparisons for developing
internal standards.
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:
โ€ข Actively pursuing a Marketing (or similar field), Culinary/Hospitality, or Electronics/Mechatronics degree from an accredited University or College.
โ€ข Must be at least 21 years of age to work in casino operations areas.ย 
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft.
โ€ข Ability to effectively communicate in English.
โ€ข Polished appearance and demeanor.
โ€ข Excellent customer service skills

โ€ขย Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department
rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
โ€ข Ability to work 7am to 5pm shift, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching.
Visual acuity and hearing.
Ability to move between hot, noisy, and smoky conditions of bar and climate-controlled dining
environment.
Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
