Job Summary:
Diligent Solutions, LLC is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist who will be a key contributor in the development and publication of large-scale technical documentation. The role involves producing clear and structured content while collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure documentation accuracy and usability.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, edit, and standardize technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Apply templates, formatting standards, and document structures across a large documentation library.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, interpret, and translate technical information.
• Identify and resolve gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear guidance across documentation.
• Organize content into logical sections and chapters to support usability and publication readiness.
• Maintain version control, traceability, and document integrity within SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Support iterative review cycles by incorporating stakeholder and committee feedback.
• Perform quality assurance checks including formatting, cross-referencing, and hyperlink validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years of technical writing, editing, or documentation experience
• Experience supporting large-scale or multi-document environments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and SharePoint
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and SMEs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
