Job description

The Volunteer and Service Learning Center is the primary portal for all service activity offered at Boston College, with a strong commitment to the Greater Boston community. We support the education and formation of our students by promoting conscientious service in the context of Catholic social teaching and contemporary Jesuit education.

The Assistant Director of the Volunteer Service Learning Center will, in addition to general duties supporting the mission of the department, provide direction and leadership to various student programs and events throughout the year, including Relay For Life and the Welles Crowther Red Bandanna 5k. This position oversees all post graduate service programming such as the Post Grad Service Fair and Reception. The position requires experience working with student groups and community organizations, as well as strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Some evenings and weekend hours will be required. Candidates with a masters in higher education, ministry, social work, and/or experience with post graduate service programs preferred.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: 61,050 to 76,300; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
