Community Engagement & Service Learning Instructor (Part-Time)

U1 Sports is a youth sports organization dedicated to helping young people thrive through athletics, academic support, leadership, and enrichment. Through school and community partnerships, we create engaging experiences that help students build Confidence, Character, and Community.


Position Summary
Lead Community Builder sessions that empower students to strengthen their school community through meaningful service projects, leadership opportunities, and collaborative initiatives. Partner with school staff to identify needs and lead projects that foster school pride, civic responsibility, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Lead school-based service learning projects.
Develop student leadership.
Coordinate with school staff.
Guide reflection and celebrate impact.
Example Projects
School beautification
Kindness campaigns
Peer mentoring
School supply drives
Family engagement events
Sustainability projects
Student leadership committees
Qualifications
Experience working with youth and facilitating leadership or service-learning programs.
Schedule
1-2 afternoons/week | 4:00-5:00 PM
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate.
