Job Description:
Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc.
When you join Caterpillar, you're joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do - but also about each other. We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities. We don't just talk about progress and innovation here - we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live. Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.
Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. Even while building deep expertise in one function, our employees can experience different career opportunities by moving between our many business units, locations, and product lines throughout their careers.
We are looking for a variety of dynamic, organized self-starters to join our Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) as a Global Dealer Learning Intern.
As Global Dealer Learning Intern, you will collaborate with a team of instructors to create learning content, prepare engines, gensets, and classrooms for technicians who attend classes at the Peoria Learning Center every week. • Must have high school counselor support
  • Safety & quality focused.
  • Familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Able to follow documented procedures for standard work and perform work safely and without defects.

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Good problem-solving skills, thinking through and diagnosing an issue, and offering potential solutions.
  • Planning & organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team-oriented and willing to adapt to change.

  • Good communication skills and able to present work in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
