Job description

Position Summary:

Join a close-knit team of professionals in a thriving church office that embraces variety, quality work, deadlines, faith and laughter. The Director of Administration is a full-time position engaged in multiple administrative and office management functions essential to our office and the 500-person congregation we serve.

Qualifications:

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn the ACS/Realm Church Accounting/Management Software
  • Familiarity with essential MS Office and Google Applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • References and ability to pass a Georgia background check
  • A sense of humor and desire to work closely with a dynamic team that enjoys serving the community
  • Experience in Office/Administrative functions

Primary Responsibilities:

Key administrative responsibilities include: serving as the initial point of contact for office visitors, coordination of church office operations, working with vendors for facility maintenance, managing the church calendar, covering incoming calls, maintaining membership files and other church documents, supervising office volunteers, and ordering/maintaining office supplies, and assisting the Director of Finance with basic bookkeeping tasks.
