14656 โ€“ VoIP Network Engineer (onsite) โ€“ Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Clientโ€™s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clientโ€™s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience in telephony infrastructure, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) implementation, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking, and call center technologies (3 - 5 years);
  • Experience working on projects/systems of medium to high complexity surrounding network/system planning, configuration, and optimization;
  • Lead, coach experience
  • Experience with Network Monitoring tools, such as SEIM tools and the Network Operations Center ticketing system

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Monitoring the State Network's performance.
  • Managing alerts and tickets generated by monitoring tools.
  • Implementing necessary configurations and adjustments to ensure optimal network/system functionality
  • Monitoring and assisting in reporting issues with the network/system for greatest performance.
  • Providing timely updates and reports on the network/system status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve any data or voice network issues promptly.
  • Ensuring the security of deployed applications.
