Position: Senior Linux and VMWare Engineer with certification 

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 12 Months


Required Skills:

Senior Linux and VMWare Engineer:

Certified VMware VCP 5, Windows, Linux and F5 load balancer expert. 

Senior VMware engineer with extensive experience on Dell hardware and configuration. 

Must have experience working in a fast paced government enterprise virtual infrastructure. Experience with Dell Compellent storage, Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems. 

Experience implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure in a large scale environment.  

Extensive experience with VCenter and VSphere configuration and deployment. 

Must have strong troubleshooting skills in VMware and windows operating systems.


Extensive administrative experience in VMware Virtual infrastructure - 4 years

In-depth knowledge of diagnosing and resolving vSphere performance issues - 4 years

In-depth experience with Dell Hardware and storage and EMC Clarion storage - 3 years

Experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) VMware View in an enterprise environment - 3 years

In-Depth experience in Windows and Linux Operating Systems and Windows Active Directory experience in an enterprise environment - 6 years

Experience implementing and configuring F5 load balancers, DNS BIND, Infoblox (DHCP, IPAM, DNS) - 3 years

Experience in designing, implementing and configuring a VSphere environment - 3 years
