The Field Principal NSX Architect will lead the design and implementation of network solutions, serving as a subject matter expert in VMware Cloud Foundation while providing technical mentorship to deployment teams.
Responsibilities:
• Architectural Design: Lead NSX design and implementation within VCF 9.1, focusing on unified multi-vCenter management and modernized topologies.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the primary lead for Broadcom and Client engineers; facilitate architecture review boards and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Design Validation: Oversee HLD/LLD documentation and conduct peer reviews for scalable architectures.
• Enterprise Architecture: Integrate Broadcom solutions (VCF, Tanzu, NSX, vSAN) into the existing IT landscape, developing detailed blueprints and implementation guides.
• PoC Guidance: Design and oversee Proof of Concepts to demonstrate solution benefits.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Lead NSX design and implementation within VCF 9.1, focusing on unified multi-vCenter management and modernized topologies.
• Act as the primary lead for Broadcom and Client engineers; facilitate architecture review boards and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Oversee HLD/LLD documentation and conduct peer reviews for scalable architectures.
• Integrate Broadcom solutions (VCF, Tanzu, NSX, vSAN) into the existing IT landscape, developing detailed blueprints and implementation guides.
• Design and oversee Proof of Concepts to demonstrate solution benefits.
• Deep familiarity with VCF 9.0, including Networking underlay and Arista interoperation.
• Advanced experience with NSX 4.x/9.x (Overlay/Underlay, VPC topologies, BGP, and Load Balancing).
• Completion of official VMware/Broadcom VCF 9.0 enablement or equivalent certification.
• Proven track record with Fortune 100 financial institutions.
• Python/Ansible experience
Preferred:
• VCDX-NV, VCF Architect, or VCF Administrator certifications.
• Experience with VCF Automation (formerly Aria) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
• Familiarity with financial industry security protocols and change management.
