Required Certifications
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT II qualifying certification (Ex: CompTIA Sec+ CE) AND • Cisco CCS Collaboration Core, CCNA, or CCNP Collaboration Certification Position Overview AGE Solutions is seeking an experienced AV/VTC Engineer to serve as a site lead and facilitator for our Government customer. The selected candidate will support the enterprise AV/VTC program, local Government/Contractor personnel, and the project manager. The selected candidate may also serve as a team lead and mentor to local personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Install, pull, terminate and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces.
• Install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on client sites.
• Read blueprints and wire AV racks. Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware and software.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all wire and connector types on all AV related cable.
• Oversee and mentor local junior staff members, as applicable.
• Coordinate with Government customers to schedule and prepare for AV/VTC events.
• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance for local AV/VTC equipment and rooms.
• Ensure that AV/VTC events are kicked off on time and that event quality is maintained throughout the event. Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience • Five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Secret security clearance.
• Certifications:
o DoD 8140/8570 IAT II qualifying certification (ex: CompTIA Sec+ CE).
AND
o Cisco CCS Collaboration Core, CCNA, or CCNP Collaboration Certification.
