Job description

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in Check Point firewalls to support a large enterprise network security environment. This hands-on role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting firewall infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
  • Manage Check Point R80+, VSX, CloudGuard, and VMware NSX-T firewall environments.
  • Design and maintain firewall policies, VPN solutions, and cloud security controls.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network security incidents.
  • Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to implement secure network solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of enterprise network or network security engineering experience.
  • Current Check Point CCSE certification (or higher).
  • Hands-on experience with Check Point R80+, VSX, and Maestro.
  • Strong networking knowledge including routers, switches, VLANs, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience securing AWS environments.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • VMware NSX-T Distributed Firewall experience.
  • Azure and/or GCP experience.
  • Experience with AlgoSec or FireMon.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Cisco or cloud certifications.
