Role: Windows-VMware Administrator

Location: Wichita, KS (On-site)

Windows-VMware Tower Lead position at Onsite (US - Wichita), along with very good experience as a Windows-VMware Administrator managing entire Windows-VMware Track/Tower & Team in ITAR restricted environment.

Core Skills:

Primary Windows-VMware, ITSM process - supporting on-premise environments/Datacenter

Secondary - Storage, Linux-AIX, Skills in supporting Public Cloud environment, Datadog Monitoring

Job Function:

  • Lead & support day-to-day operations for the Windows-VMware Tower
  • Ensures IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently following the ITIL processes and delivery mode.
  • Responsible for handling Infra Operations & build associated with On-Premise Windows-VMware environment for Datacenter/Remote sites & Public Cloud platform
  • Support day-to-day operations for the Hosting track specific to Windows-VMware activities for on-premise/datacenters environment
  • Handle escalated & critical Incident, service request, change requests as per defined SLA at L2/L3 level
  • Perform Lead role for this Tower, manage entire Onshore/Offshore Team & ensure appropriate ticket handling, change, problem management
  • Server monitoring, Tickets resolution, handle Major incident & represent Windows Server track, Server patching (vulnerability remediation)
  • Perform Windows-VMware Server Tower Lead role & Manage server Team
  • Responsible for handling Infra projects & build associated with On Premise along with Engineering Team under DevOps model in Datacenter/Remote sites/Cloud environment

Required Qualifications & experience:

  • Bachelor s degree required from an accredited institution.
  • At Least 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Windows-VMware platform, strong diagnostic experience
  • Lead, Manage & oversee overall Windows-VMware Tower operations
  • Representing entire Windows-VMware Tower in Client facing role
  • Responsible for handling Infra projects & build associated with On-Premise VMware/Wintel/Unix/Linux/Storage/VxRail etc.

Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos and Windows Authentication
