Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Account Executive to join our growing National Accounts team. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, and expanding staffing partnerships across multiple markets nationwide.

The ideal candidate is a hunter with a consultative sales approach who thrives on building relationships, uncovering workforce challenges, and delivering customized solutions. This individual will work closely with operations and executive leadership to drive revenue growth while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new National Account opportunities across manufacturing, logistics, distribution, administrative, professional, and skilled trades sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client workforce challenges and hiring needs.
  • Present service offerings, value proposition, and workforce solutions to decision-makers.
  • Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned National Accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and workforce planning meetings with clients.
  • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, fill rates, and service delivery metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and additional service offerings.
  • Resolve client concerns quickly and effectively while maintaining strong relationships.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure the successful fulfillment of client staffing requirements.
  • Communicate hiring forecasts, project needs, and workforce trends to internal teams.
  • Work closely with branch leadership and operations to coordinate nationwide initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate client records, sales activity, and forecasting within CRM systems.

Reporting & Performance Metrics

  • Meet or exceed established sales KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Track pipeline activity, meetings, proposals, account growth, and closed business.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence to leadership.
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend strategies to drive client retention and growth.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent business development experience.
  • 3+ years of industry sales, business development, or workforce solutions experience.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and growing client accounts.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise-level organizations.
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25-50%).

Preferred

  • National Accounts or multi-location staffing experience.
  • Experience working with MSP, VMS, and enterprise workforce programs.
