Overview:
Job Title: Data Support and Visualization Lead
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary $125,000

Primary Skill: Tableau, SSRS
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support analysts in providing timely and effective support for Data Reporting and Visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, Qlik, PowerBI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data reporting and visualization in the production environment.
  • Optimize reporting and visualization solutions for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements for reporting and visualization.
  • Analyze and assess data quality issues, identifying and implementing solutions to improve data accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage incidents, change requests and service requests pertaining to data reporting and visualization, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data reporting and visualization processes.
  • Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other relevant documents to identify and address the root causes of data-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data reporting and visualization, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing clear and concise data insights and reports.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Reporting and Visualization, with a proven track record of success in complex implementations.
  • Experience implementing end-to-end reporting and visualization solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Expert-level proficiency in data reporting tools (Tableau and SSRS).
  • Extensive experience managing data operations projects, including data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to coordinate activities related to the maintenance, updates, upgrades, and patching of Reporting environments, encompassing platforms such as Tableau, SSRS, & Qlik.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Experience in preparing RCA and other relevant documents, such as incident reports and post-mortem analyses.

Good to have: Azure understanding and Power BI and Qlik reporting experience.
