Job description

At Phillip Jeffries, we believe beautiful design begins with passion, integrity, and connection. What started in 1976 as a small family business with just ten grasscloths in a New Jersey garage has grown into a global luxury brand offering more than 1,000 wallcoverings to designers and architects around the world. Through decades of growth, our values remain the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to craftsmanship, creativity, and delivering exceptional experiences at every touchpoint.
Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Product Visualization Associate who excels in crafting photorealistic room scenes that bring our wallcoverings to life and inspire the design community. Your mastery of lighting, materials, and environmental detail will directly shape how the world experiences the PJ brand. If thoughtful design, meaningful relationships, and contributing to extraordinary interiors energize you, we invite you to apply for this role reporting to the Product Marketing Director. This position is onsite three days per week.
What You Will Be Doing
Rendering Asset Creation
  • Produce high-quality, tileable rendering assets that beautifully showcase PJ wallcoverings across digital platforms.
  • Maintain consistent rendering standards tailored to each product category.
  • Prepare and upload assets for the PJ custom wallcovering visualizer and third-party apps, ensuring accuracy, scale, and seamless deployment.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and approvals to ensure every asset meets PJ's elevated expectations.

Photorealistic Image Development
  • Create photorealistic scene renderings that inspire designers and support marketing storytelling.
  • Ensure lighting, material mapping, perspective, and environmental details are executed with precision.
  • Style scenes to reflect and elevate the PJ brand aesthetic - polished, luxurious, and design-forward.

Technical Visualization Assets

  • Develop instructional diagrams that support both internal teams and client needs.
  • Produce and maintain underlay files used across design and marketing workflows.
  • Create cropping guidelines that ensure repeat patterns and murals are visualized and applied correctly.

Image & Asset Governance
  • Maintain organized, version-controlled visualization files with impeccable digital hygiene.
  • Tag panel maps, CADs, instructional diagrams, and technical assets to their corresponding products within our digital asset management system.
  • Ensure all visualization assets meet PJ's internal standards for digitized imagery.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product development, and production teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely file creation

What You Bring to the Table
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a refined creative eye
  • 1-3 years supporting product visualization, digital rendering, or surface design workflows
  • 3+ years of high-level retouching experience with impeccable visual accuracy
  • 1-3 years working with AI-driven rendering tools, development software, or creative applications
  • Experience in wallcoverings, textiles, or interior home furnishings preferred
  • Familiarity with AVA software or interior styling considered a plus
  • Strong understanding of lighting, materials, scale, and texture across digital and physical environments
  • Natural curiosity and comfort with emerging technologies and innovative design tools
  • Ability to interpret design and production briefs with clarity and precision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and elevated visual quality standards
  • Disciplined approach to file organization, naming, and workflow management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams
  • A sense of ownership, pride in craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence
