This position is based out of the San Francisco office and open to a hybrid schedule once onboarding and orientation is complete.
We are seeking a Visualization Manager to join our design practice and contribute to the creation of compelling architectural imagery that supports and elevates our work. This role is focused on hands-on production, developing visuals that capture atmosphere, materiality, and narrative across all phases of design. This role provides a significant growth opportunity to lead and elevate the quality, consistency, and strategic vision of architectural visualization across the firm.
Building on our current workflow as a Mac-based firm that utilizes Twinmotion as our primary tool for visualization, you will refine and standardize processes, optimize workflows, and implement firm-wide standards while considering emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is fluent in architectural technology and visualization workflows, with the ability to build systems, set standards, and has an interest in leading a multidisciplinary team toward a consistent, on-brand visual identity.
The Visualization Manager will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality visuals that clearly communicate design intent. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of design and technology, applying advanced visualization tools while supporting firmwide standards of quality and consistency.
We are seeking a technically skilled and creatively driven visualization professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, values precision and artistry, and is eager to contribute to the evolution of visualization within Walker Warner.
Primary Responsibilities across Firm Goals:
Strengthen Design Culture:
  • Produce high-quality visualizations that communicate design intent with clarity, atmosphere, and photorealism.
  • Maintain a strong eye for composition, storytelling, and detail, while also delivering consistently on technical execution.
  • Provide hands-on visualization support across multiple project typologies, ensuring deliverables align with design vision and project deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to develop compelling visuals at all stages of design, from early conceptual ideation to polished, client-ready presentations.
Maintain and Elevate Design Quality:
  • Adhere to firmwide visualization standards, templates, and guidelines established by senior visualization leadership.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all visual outputs.
  • Contribute to refining workflows and visual standards, with the opportunity to help shape evolving processes.
  • Participate in internal reviews, incorporating feedback from senior leaders to strengthen visualization quality.
Cultivate the Next Generation of Leaders:
  • Collaborate with internal leadership teams to establish and confirm standards and update visualization strategies.
  • Work directly with architects, interior designers, BIM specialists, and marketing staff to create integrated visual outputs.
  • Partner with project managers to support visualization needs, learning to incorporate visualization best practices into project delivery.
  • Mentor junior staff in visualization techniques, software, and best practices, while also receiving coaching from senior visualization leadership.
  • Assist in developing visualization pipelines that improve efficiency and support integration with BIM and design teams.
Strengthen Brand Recognition & Industry Presence:
  • Support marketing teams by assisting with presentation graphics, visual templates, and client-facing materials.
  • Build relationships with external visualization studios and outsourcing partners to help manage workloads and extend production capacity.
  • Represent the firm externally by attending events to stay connected within the industry and remain knowledgeable about emerging trends and technologies.
Strategic Growth & Business Development:
  • Stay informed about industry tools and techniques, particularly in AI-driven visualization, and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Explore real-time and immersive workflows to expand firm capabilities in VR, AR, and interactive platforms.
  • Apply and experiment with advanced visualization tools

Qualifications
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in architectural visualization or a related creative production role, with a strong portfolio of high-end renderings and visual storytelling.
  • Deep knowledge of Twinmotion visualization software
  • Knowledge of Archicad / Twinmotion workflows
  • Experience working in a Mac-based design environment
  • Expert-level Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Strong interest in emerging AI technologies
  • Knowledge of movie editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Corona, V-Ray Unreal Engine, 3ds max a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative, design-focused studio.
  • Skilled communicator and teacher, able to clearly articulate feedback and coach others toward excellence.
  • A proactive learner, open to mentorship, and motivated to grow technical and creative expertise.

Compensation and Benefits
Walker Warner offers a competitive compensation package including fully paid health benefits for employees, profit sharing, employer 401(k) contribution, generous paid time-off and flexible spending accounts, plus so much more.
For 2025, the hiring base annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Any offer of compensation will be determined by a candidate's education, skills, and experience as assessed during the interview process.
