Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where ideas, graphics, and visualization come together to communicate design? If so, we are seeking a motivated student intern to support our Design Technology and Visualization efforts within our Sacramento office.
This internship is ideal for students interested in architectural visualization, graphic communication, photography, videography, motion design, and emerging design technology workflows. The role will focus heavily on visual content creation, presentation graphics, digital documentation, AI-assisted workflows, and supporting firmwide design technology initiatives.
As the Student Intern, you will…

  • Explore and adapt to emerging design technology tools and visualization platforms.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted design workflows, including image generation, prompt development, and iterative visual exploration for architectural visualization.
  • Use Photoshop and related creative software to edit renderings, assist with image post-production, and visual storytelling for project presentations.
  • Support photography and videography efforts including capturing project/site content and editing short-form videos.
  • Help develop internal documentation, visual guides, and tutorials that communicate firm standards and workflows.
  • Assist in creating intranet and digital learning content for internal training resources and design technology support.
  • Assist with organization and development of digital assets, templates, and visualization workflows.

The Must-Haves (Required)
  • Must be a current student working toward a degree in Architecture, Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in architectural visualization, digital graphics, and creative technology.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong visual communication, layout, and graphic composition skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly through visuals, diagrams, and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple creative tasks.

The Like-to-Haves (Not Required)
  • Experience with photography and videography.
  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, or multimedia content creation for presentations, tutorials, or digital storytelling.
  • Experience in AI-assisted visualization workflows and emerging design technology.
  • Basic or Conceptual knowledge of Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, or other visualization/design software.
  • Experience creating tutorials, educational content, or workflow documentation.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and creative processes.

Hourly Rate: $25
