The Position:

Summit Search Group has been retained by EQ3 in the recruitment of their next Store Manager in Laval, Quebec. The Store Manager is a key ambassador of EQ3’s brand and customer experience. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, oversee daily operations, and cultivate a store environment that showcases EQ3’s values of design, quality, and service. You will drive business objectives through strategic planning, strong leadership, and operational excellence, ensuring an inspiring customer experience while maintaining compliance with brand standards and retail procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership and development to all store team members, including Assistant Managers, Operations leaders, and sales staff, ensuring performance expectations and growth plans are met.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Lead store operations by managing KPI performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with Retail Brand Standards and SOPs.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD), driving sales floor excellence, creative problem-solving, and customer-first service.
  • Analyze sales trends and local market insights to implement strategies that drive revenue, reduce shrink, and optimize payroll and operational expenses.
  • Deliver visually inspiring merchandising aligned with seasonal direction and company guidelines to elevate the customer experience.
  • Lead weekly business routines including scheduling, reporting, strategic meetings, and other operational tasks to support business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Retail Management, Design, or related fields preferred.
  • 3-5 years of retail management experience with a proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience coaching teams, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative, customer-centric environment.
  • Knowledge of retail financial management, inventory processes, and visual merchandising standards.
