We are seeking a Director of Merchandising to serve as the most senior merchandising leader on our team, with full accountability over the Men's, Women's, and Shoes & Accessories divisions. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving the strategic vision and in-season management of the entire division.

Reporting into the SVP of Merchandising, you will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, build and optimize our assortment, and identify opportunities for growth. Day-to-day, this means translating consumer insights and market trends into a cohesive, commercially successful product vision - while working seamlessly alongside Design, Planning, and Production.

What you'll own:

  • Full divisional accountability across Women's, Mens and Shoes & Accessories
  • Strategic assortment building and in-season business management
  • Cross-functional partnerships to align on product direction and growth priorities
  • Development, mentorship, and leadership of the merchant team

What we're looking for:

  • Deep experience in apparel merchandising, ideally with multi-category or senior-level responsibility
  • A strong pulse on trends and a genuine passion for the apparel market
  • A consumer-first mindset with the ability to champion that perspective throughout the assortment process
  • A track record of delivering business results while leading and inspiring teams

This role reports directly to the SVP of Merchandising and will initially oversee three direct reports, with room to grow.

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead the development of the overall divisional product strategy for Women's, Mens and Shoes & Accessories to drive profitable growth in line with brand goals.
  • Guide assortment strategy, launch strategy, and pricing across all divisions, maintaining select category responsibility for assortment leadership with trend and relevancy at the forefront of product decisions.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to recap the business and recommend actions to drive growth for total division.
  • Oversee a team of three direct reports, focusing on their training and development.
  • Build and implement channel strategy for online and retail locations.
  • Work seamlessly with Design, Planning, and Production teams to ensure excellent execution of product strategies.
  • Manage existing processes, systems, and calendars and create new ones to drive efficiency.
  • Drive speed to market through partnerships with Product Development and Supply Chain to chase incremental opportunities for the brand.
  • Utilize core merchandising, planning and data systems, including Miro, Air Table, and Looker, for cross-functional calendar management, assortment planning, and business analysis.

The Fine Print:

LA: This is a full-time role based in our Los Angeles Creative Studio located in the Arts District. We are on a hybrid schedule, with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The annual compensation range for this role is $128,000 - $171,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
