Job description

Location: Hybrid schedule going onsite 1x per week in the Bay Area
Duration: Contract-to-hire- starting ASAP
Pay Rate: $60.00-$70.00/hourly

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Head of Merchandising to build and launch our client's e-commerce offering from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Develop and execute the merchandising strategy, from product assortment to sourcing and production.
  2. Identify and partner with factories to bring high-quality, trend-driven products to market.
  3. Oversee the development of a focused product line, including athletic socks, accessories, soft goods, etc.
  4. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate e-commerce into our client's existing brand ecosystem.
Who You Are:
  1. 5+ years of merchandising experience, including product development and sourcing.
  2. A strategic yet hands-on operator—comfortable doing the work, not just directing it.
  3. Experienced in launching e-commerce or new product categories.
  4. Deeply understands the Tween/Teen market and what resonates with this audience.
