Job description

The Role

TalkShopLive is looking for a hands-on Head of Product to help scale our live commerce and technology company. As our first Head of Product, reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with the Head of Engineering, you will own the full product function, from vision and strategy to roadmap, discovery, execution, and team leadership. This role is both highly strategic and deeply operational, ideal for a product leader who thrives in the details, uses data and AI to drive decisions, and translates customer insights into products that accelerate growth.

This role requires someone who can execute strategy and feature-level detail simultaneously. You’ll lead by doing as much as by directing — watching shows, testing seller flows, reviewing metrics, and using AI tools as a core part of how you work and how you lead your team.

What You’ll Own

  • Product vision, strategy, OKRs, and roadmap across the full TSL platform: Seller tools, Viewer/Shopper experience, Merchant/Brand value, integrations, and platform features.
  • Go-to-market alignment: partner with CEO to ensure product decisions translate to GTM leverage.
  • AI strategy: identify and prioritize where AI creates durable competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
  • Team: lead and grow the product and design organization; set the bar for craft, velocity, and customer obsession

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 10+ years in product with 5+ years leading a product function and team. GM and analytics/BI experience are a plus. MUST HAVE consumer product experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver consumer digital products that create positive user and business impact. Experience with live streaming, shoppable video, social commerce, and Shopify is a plus.
  • Genuine AI fluency: you use AI tools in your daily workflow. You’ve vibe-coded your own prototypes or production products and you’ve shipped AI-powered features. You can distinguish between AI that creates real leverage and AI without value.
  • Strong cross-functional operator: capable of driving alignment across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and the CEO.
  • Must thrive in ambiguity. Growth/learner mindset. Excellent communication. Understands the value of being both scrappy and disciplined.
  • You are a proven coach and high-impact player.

What We Offer

Competitive salary, equity, and benefits. Remote-first. Opportunity to work with a talented team who care about our mission and each other.
