Description
The Motion Designer is responsible for the development, execution and delivery of animated visual designs, along with motion graphics for broadcast, social media, marketing, sales and on-site media for TMRW Sports and its associated brands. This role will collaborate with internal and external clients in producing broadcast quality motion graphics content for a worldwide audience. He/She must possess excellent visual design skills, technical prowess and demonstrate self-motivated strategic problem solving. Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Creative, this role will be part of an innovative Creative team that values collaboration, communication, accountability and bold ideas. This person must possess strong communication skills, demonstrate keen business acumen and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, while also working independently as required.
***To be considered for this role, all applicants must include a digital portfolio showcasing samples of completed design projects. (A link is sufficient.) The portfolio should reflect the candidate's comprehensive design expertise.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute original, cutting-edge animated visual designs and motion graphics for broadcast, social media, marketing, sales and on-site media
  • Manage and prioritize projects to complete according to timeline and budget
  • Apply conceptual and technical thinking to create industry leading visuals
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members, leaders and partners to design concept to completion 360 immersive video content
  • Confidently present strategic ideas in meetings
  • Proactively identify business opportunities, latest trends and technologies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 7+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of motion design within all forms of media, including video, broadcast, digital, 2D / 3D animation, AR, VR, web, print and various display methods
  • Experience working specifically within the sports industry
  • Expert technical knowledge/experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong 2d/3d animation skills
  • Experienced in fast-paced working environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with various deadlines
  • Strong sense of editorial timing and direction
  • Available during and ahead of competition hours, which may include evenings, weekends and may include travel as applicable

Preferred:
  • Advanced knowledge of C4D or equivalent
  • Experience with Unreal engine and other new innovative technologies a plus
  • Videography and editing skills
