How you'll contribute
An Ultrasound Tech who excels in this role:
  • Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.

  • Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.

  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.

  • Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.

  • Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.

What we're looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of an approved course in Ultrasonography. Additional requirements include:
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

  • Must be either a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OR Registered Vascular Technologist or be registry eligible.

  • New graduates must take and pass the ARDMS registry withing 2 years or hire.

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
