Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology / Ultrasound Manager to join the team in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. About the department: Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.
A typical day will include: Providing oversight and supervision for staff engaged in providing diagnostic imaging studies to assist in the detection and diagnosis of disease and injury.
  • Monitors absenteeism and tardiness, counseling staff per policy as required.
  • Provides feedback to employees regarding work performance and performs one-on-one monthly rounding with each employee.
  • Acts as a role model in performing as a patient advocate and in providing quality care to patients.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing levels for ultrasound in the hospital and imaging center. Ensures staffing schedules are completed and available.
  • Functions as a staff Sonographer as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiology Program, or equivalent
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is required; 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Skills: Leadership, patient care, communication, patient safety, computer skills
  • Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers - Abdomen, OB, Vascular required; certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred
  • Physical: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit

This position is: Full-time working either 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.
